Haiku My Heart Friday: Family

The Ancient and traditional
Barnes family Sparkler Dance

In Dances of fire
Our hearts sang and laughter reigned
together in joy

This was my heart on July 4th
Exploding with happiness
surrounded by love.

I have been taught
by life
and faith
that our true treasures
are things that cannot be seen or hoarded.
Only felt.
Only given,
then to be received, as a gift forever.

We once lost each other
to time and space.
Now we are found. Now we stand together.
Now holding onto each other with both hands
and our hearts.

Please go to Recuerda Mi Corazon
and visit with the amazing heart of Rebecca and the many other heartlights that open on Haiku my heart Fridays

Very beautiful sentiments about family. I know I am a rich man because of my family, yet I have no money.
Very healing words here as well.
Much peace to you.

You all sparkle.

Is the sparkler dance a bohemian tradition or a Barnes one?
