Haiku my Heart

The Garden tools wait.
Cloud paintings fill the Spring sky.
Enchanted I watch.

My heart has been outdoors, wandering amongst the trees and flitting about with the wild birds. I see new hatchlings in the nest by my door. They get bigger everyday, along with my plants and herbs. Such richness. I may be the richest woman on the block!

Please go to Recuerda mi Corazon for more haiku wonderments and links.

There are cloud paintings here, too! And is it true, "There's no place like gnome?"

I totally relate to your haiku! Sometimes I go outside with a plan and quickly get off on a tangent...and who's to say what's more important? The call of spring is looking downright gorgeous at your house!
Thanks for the wonderful comments on my blog - I'm so glad we found each other!

Your posts always give me another way to see. How I love his--and your--enchantment. You give me hope and strength to be a light on my own block.

Wonderful that you stop your work to make things beautiful to see the beauty and savor it. I have seen the Gnomes in yards and gardens, but don't know anyone that has one, (or more). Our lawn ornaments are Grandchildrens toys! I'm sure my Grandkids would make friends with your Gnome if it were around here.

Peace

Well, I love the garden gnome. He is almost a cultural archetype, a guardian of plants and herbs. Beautiful haiku and a very evocative post.

Hi Paintdiva! Spring never fails to renew us! I love your haiku and the prose poem below. Your herb garden looks perfect, so you can wait awhile to pick up the tools! The gnome and his turtle look so peaceful. Yes, you are living in the moment! Enjoy!
